Tropicana has dumped the new packaging design they launched in January and has gone (rushed!) back to their old design after seeing a 20% plunge in sales after the launch of the new packaging. The new design was OK, but it eliminated the brand’s biggest visual hook — the orange with the straw sticking out of it. The redesign looks like packaging for a store brand. Although Publix does nice work with their store brand.
